The United States Constitution is the supreme law of the United States. It was adopted in 1788 and has been amended 27 times. The Constitution establishes the structure of the federal government, including the three branches of government: the legislative, executive, and judicial branches. The Preamble

The Preamble to the Constitution states the purpose of the document: "We the People of the United States, in Free Download to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."

The Articles
