In 1940, as the Battle of Britain raged and the Nazis seemed poised to conquer all of Europe, a young woman named Joan Clarke was recruited to work at Bletchley Park, the top-secret British codebreaking center.

Clarke was one of the few women who worked at Bletchley Park, and she quickly proved herself to be a brilliant codebreaker. She worked on the Enigma machine, the German code machine that was used to encrypt all of the Nazi's military communications.
